Wild Animal Wall Art
Initially, faced with a large empty canvas causes me apprehension but just starting with certain ideas and shapes eases me into something exciting and adventurous. I learn a lot and become completely absorbed in the process of producing a humble interpretation of these magnificent creatures. It is my hope that in some way my paintings trigger support for these animals and their survival.
01
Humpback Whale & calf
Their songs can last for hours – sometimes they sing together in chorus.
02
Loggerhead Turtle
They help to maintain the health of coral reefs and sea grass beds.
03
Eye of the Tiger
A tiger’s eye stone helps to expand new ideas and see new solutions!
04
Elephant (in the room)
They say an elephant never forgets. What they don’t say is you never forget an elephant!
05
Zebra Crossing
Zebra stripes were ‘due to “slippery slidy shadows of trees” falling on its body.’ Rudyard Kipling
06
Orangutan with infant
These can only be found in two locations in the World – Borneo and Sumatra. We are losing their natural habitat!
07
White Tail Sea Eagle
The Sea Eagle is bigger by a third than the Golden Eagle.
08
Wild Horses
Powerful, wild and free...
